Grain Threshers, Mexico

Dramatic outdoor scene. The horses appear to be large, strong and spirited animals. They are roped together and are depicted in various stages of movement. Two figures stand on each end of the row of horses with whips in their hands. In the background, three figures appear to be lifting hay. The clouds in the sky are dark and threatening and add to the tension filled atmosphere of the image. Grain Threshers, Old Mexico. Commissioned by the Print Club of Albany, New York.
