Bergsma Brother's Factory

1950's painting of the Bergsma Brother's Furniture Factory in Grand Rapids, Mi. The factory was owned and operated by brothers Julian and Ken Bergsma. Julian died in World War II. Eventually the factory was sold and Ken invested in an art gallery in the Grand Plaza Hotel, formerly the Pantlind, in Grand Rapids where Merizon exhibited his paintings in the '70's through the '90's off and on. The Bergsma's and Merizon had been originally school mates. The painting is signed lower left.
