small landscape with red barns in the distance. Sky and part of foreground made up of boxes with color wash over. Merizon did a lot of experimenting with this technique in the 1980's when he was first diagnosed with Macular Degeneration which eventually caused him to become legally blind. This painting is not signed or dated. Merzion hired daughter, Chantal to paint in the squares after he drew the lines.
