Dickering
Two men chatting in front of barn with blue roof. Unsigned, undated. Written on back by daughter Chantal, "1993 oil by Armand Merizon. Let it be known that this is only an experiment". Merizon gave this to Chantal but did not consider it to be a finished painting, but only an experiment. He had a technique which included heavy acrylic lines that dried and then he sanded, and then painted over, which gave his paintings, a tactile, undulating effect. He refused to sign. Name given by Chantal M. Van Heest.
