Lobster Pots
This painting is an example of the many done by Page and other Lynn Beach Painters depicting the shore as the fisherman’s work area. It is signed on lower right and dated 1915. The year suggests the scene is a spot north of Swampscott, the fish houses along the Lynn and Swampscott shore having been removed by then to make way for development .
