The New Street

This painting was originally 24" x 20" but was cut down by Merizon sometime in the early to mid 1960's as I remember it on the mantel being much large with the road extending down to the bottom of the panel. Apparently Merizon felt there was too much street for a good composition. He often trimmed his paintings down upon completion. An indication of abstracted sky with realism.
