Slice of Landscape
Narrow, patchwork landscape of farm country reaching out over the dunes to Lake Michigan. Very likely a "cut off" of another painting of which Merizon thought to be too long. He would often take a couple inches off of paintings that were near completion after deciding that less was best. Sometimes these paint strips could stand on their own as separate paintings.
