The Natural
A soaring bird in an abstracted, geometrical sky of a pastel palette. One of the very few paintings from 2000. This was the year that the artist turned 80 years old and it was depressing for him. He would often feel ill from anxiety and would visit the ER many times that year. He actually quit paining for several months.
