Small Town Life
Colorful, abstracted and somewhat transparent figures stand in a group in a "main street" setting with water and mountainous backdrop. The figures include a policeman looking off as if to be surveying the landscape in a protective stance, a bearded man on the left who is pointing to himself, duplicated x 1. The man on the right with his hands in his pocket wears a cap that was popular in mostly rural areas in the '70's. A black dog, resembling Franz the beloved family lab sits attentively as a cat marches proudly by in the foreground. The man with the beard is perhaps a self portrait? Signed lower right with ©.
