Portrait of a Young Woman
Monochrome, multiple image portrait. The artist met this woman at the Towne and Country Pharmacy at 44th and Kalamazoo in Grand Rapids. She worked there at the time. Merizon would frequent the lunch counter at the pharmacy for many years on a regular basis for coffee, conversation with regulars including the late artist, Rey Widenaar, and to read the paper. This was how he would begin his day.
