Moon Light and Crickets

Moon Light and Crickets or Moonrise Over Hanna Lake Road. The story goes that Merizon was on his way home one evening and while driving south on Hanna Lake Road, saw this great moonrise to the east. It was sold to a physician friend of the artist. This doctor explained that Merizon would occasionally drop in unexpectedly with a painting. More often than not it would be a dark and stormy evening. Merizon would have the painting in a canvas bag. The doctor owned at least 7 paintings by the artist at one time. It was originally sold for 400.00.
