Two Old Timers

Unsigned with no date. Circa 1980's, monochrome painting of two old men talking. It appears to be a rough version of the painting named "Three Brother's" as in the foreground, at the feet of the men are lines that indicate a mound of soil as if it were a grave. The same idea for Three Brother's.

Photo of the back of the painting. In Merizon's hand: 1. Gray washes 2) Black accents 3) White highlights 4) Wash away charcoal lines and access black. 5) Spray on acrylic 6) Seal with full bodied acrylic 7) Glaze on "sand" tint.

It was very common for him to write down his techniques and new discoveries although on the back of the liner was unusual.
