Beethoven

Drawing of Beethoven, one of Merizon's favorite classical musicians and huge inspiration for many paintings. This drawing was found in a book  in the studio. It was Max Doerners The Materials of the Artist and Their Use in Painitng with Notes on the Techniques of the Old Masters. This  book was read thoroughly and referred to often by Merizon through out his life. He spoke of it in Armand the 2005 documentary about his life and work.
