The Retired Professor
An elderly gentleman walking along with his hands in his pockets on what appears to be a chilly fall afternoon although it could be spring just as well. The green in the background suggests new life, growth. He is similar to the image of the man in the Forgotten Path painting in dress and cap. The man who was his mentor, "Andy" or "Angel" Andrews. There are milkweed pods gone to seed here and there that add little lights along the way.
