Hebe Fountain



Medium: Cast iron
Location: Grand Rapids Home for Veterans, 3000 Monroe Avenue NE.
Notes:

A Victorian style fountain and sculpture of Hebe, the Greek goddess of youth.

The fountain was constructed in 1893 by J.L. Mott Iron Works in New York, N.Y. It was restored in 1987 by Robinson Iron of Alexander City, Alabama using original Mott Iron Works molds. In November of 1990 it was placed in the register of historic landmarks of Grand Rapids by the Grand Rapids Historic Preservation Commission.
